Ingredients


Makes: 4 servings
  • 1 1/2 C (375 ml) dry cannellini beans, soaked overnight
  • 1 can (14 oz/398 ml) stewed tomatoes, with juice
  • cold water, to cover
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) Roasted Garlic, or to taste
  • 1 Tbsp (15 ml) Tuscan Rub
  • 2 Tbsp (30 ml) balsamic vinegar
  • Sea Salt (Grinder), to taste
  • Black Pepper (Grinder), to taste

Preparation


 
  • Drain and rinse cannellini beans. Place in a Multipurpose Pot - 12 C . Add stewed tomatoes and enough water to fully cover beans.
  • Stir in Roasted Garlic, Tuscan Rub and balsamic vinegar. Bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat before covering.
  • Reduce heat to low. Cook 20 - 30 minutes, or until beans are tender. Season with Salt and Pepper.

Tip


 

Tip: Use drained and rinsed canned cannellini beans and reduce cooking time.
