Ingredients


Makes: 4 servings
  • 4 C (1 L) cold water
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) Sea Salt (Grinder)
  • 1 Tbsp (15 ml) butter
  • 1 1/2 C (375 ml) cornmeal
  • 1 Tbsp (15 ml)

Preparation


 
  • In a Multipurpose Pot - 12 C , bring cold water to a rapid boil. Add Sea Salt and butter, and reduce heat so water is still simmering.
  • Add cornmeal in a steady stream while rapidly stirring. Add Marinara Sauce Mix and continue to stir for 3 - 5 minutes or until polenta begins to pull away from the sides of the pot as you stir.
  • Reduce heat to low, cover and cook for 15 - 20 minutes, or until liquid is absorbed and polenta is tender.
  • Spoon soft polenta onto a serving platter and top with a heated sauce of your choice.
